This workshop is aimed at all level painters who wish to explore the ideas, techniques and issues involved with creating a cityscape in an impressionistic manner.  Taya Danchenko will discuss concepts and techniques aimed to resolve the frequent questions considering oil painting "all prima"(means in one time). She will discuss the science of how we see and how we can control and excite eye movement. Moving on from compositional design concepts, Taya will tackle the practical techniques of oil painting on canvas like working wet-on-wet, colours needed to capture the vivid colour of the sunset and tonal contrast of the buildings. 

You will find us next to a Carousel Cafe at 7.00 pm ready to meet the sunset.
